This piece was born from a dice roll and a story I've been carrying for a long time. I’m a survivor of CSA, and for myself, and many other survivors, speaking up and sharing what happened is the hardest part of healing
Each pendant is made using a custom 3D printed clay cutter that I designed myself. The clay is marbled with black, grey, green, and purple, then kissed with gold foil and mica powder to look like something pulled from the ruins of an ancient temple. The cutter is dusted with bronze mica powder and pressed into the slab, leaving Medusa's portrait embedded in the clay. Every piece in this batch is completely unique — the cracks, the color variation, the gold — no two will ever look exactly the same.
Medusa was never the monster. She was a woman who was wronged, blamed for it, and turned into something the world could fear instead of protect. This pendant is for everyone who has ever been made to feel like the problem in their own story. Wear her like armor. Wear her like a reminder. She was never the monster — and neither were we.
